The basics
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PixelArtPro at pixelartpro.com (the "Service"), operated by the PixelArtPro team ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These Terms are written in plain language on purpose — but they are still a legal agreement.
What you can do
PixelArtPro is free to use for personal and commercial purposes, with no account required. You may:
- Convert as many images as you like using the main converter and the Advanced Pixel Studio.
- Export your results as PNG or SVG at any supported scale, without watermarks.
- Use your exported pixel art in personal projects, client work, indie games, merchandise, marketing, and any other lawful commercial context.
- Create, save, import, and export custom palettes in the Advanced Pixel Studio.
We do not charge fees, impose conversion limits, or gate features behind registration.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its hosting infrastructure.
- Scrape the site aggressively or circumvent any technical measures we put in place.
- Use the Service to process content you have no right to use, or to create content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringing.
- Misrepresent the Service or imply an endorsement or partnership with PixelArtPro that does not exist.
Because the Service runs client-side in your browser, most misuse simply is not possible — but the rules above still apply.
Your content & output ownership
You own 100% of the pixel art you create with PixelArtPro. We claim no ownership, license, or rights over your conversions or exports — they are yours to use, sell, modify, and distribute as you wish, with no royalties and no attribution required (though attribution is always appreciated).
Two conditions apply:
- You are responsible for having the rights to the images you convert. Converting someone else's copyrighted photo does not transfer their rights to you.
- Your ownership covers your output — it does not extend to the Service itself (see below).
Our intellectual property
The PixelArtPro name, logo, site design, text, guides, and underlying code remain our property (or that of our licensors). These Terms give you no right to copy, redistribute, or rebrand the Service itself, or to use our name or logo in a way that suggests affiliation without our written permission.
No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs; that conversions will meet your expectations; or that the site is compatible with every browser or device. Browser-based processing depends on your device's capabilities, and results may vary.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the PixelArtPro team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, profits, or goodwill — arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us to use it — which, being a free service, is zero.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time — for example, if the Service gains new features. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
